Managed Support & Service Plans

Ferris Consulting offers network and desktop support services on an as needed basis or contractual basis. Depending on your company requirements, either plan can be tailored to ensure outstanding support is just a phone call away.

Annual Service Contract

An annual service contract ensures that a technician will respond to your systems emergencies quickly, usually less than two hours, but guaranteed in four, 24/7. With our telephone, email, remote access and on-site systems support, you can draw on the services of highly trained technical specialists to support your office environment. By entering into an annual service contract, substantial savings are passed along as both Category One and Category Two rates are blended into one single discounted rate.

As Needed Support Program

With our As Needed Support Program, you can call upon us anytime on an as needed basis. Whether you need to solve a small problem or redesign your network, our technical specialists are ready to assist you.

Categories of Services

Services fall into one of two categories - Desktop/Printer Related or Network Server Related.

Category One Services - Desktop and Printer Related
PC Support Desktop/Laptop system repair, upgrades, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, cleaning, moves, adds, changes (MAC's) and any other related services
Application Support Software upgrades, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, training and any other related services
Desktop Peripherals Support Hardware/software upgrades, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, training and any other related services
Printer Support Printer maintenance, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, cleaning, parts replacement and any other related services
Category Two Services - Network Server Related
Network Server Support Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, Netware, all other software/hardware, hardware/software upgrades, diagnostics, support, maintenance, documentation and any other related services
Data/Disaster Recovery Support Data backup, maintenance, restorations, software/hardware upgrades, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation and any other related services
Server Applications Support Software upgrades, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, training and any other related services
Server Peripherals Support Hardware/software upgrades, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, training and any other related services
Internal Data Cabling Support Category 5/6 cable runs, wall jacks, end plugs, installations, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, training and any other related services
Protocol Analysis Support Network diagnosis, performance testing, software/hardware upgrades, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation, training and any other related services
Communications Support LAN communications, Routers, Switches, Hubs, Cables, VPN, Firewall, software/hardware upgrades, configurations, diagnostics, support, documentation and any other related services
External Email and Internet Connectivity Defined as connectivity from outside your offices to the Cable Broadband Modem - DSL Router - T1, T3, Fiber Optic, CSU/DSU connecting to the incoming point of the Network Router
Internal Email and Internet Connectivity Defined as connectivity between the Network Router(s) to the Network Server(s) and all Desktop Computers
